My VIP invitations and VIP pass
Where to open your pass QR when a venue adds you to its VIP / guest list.
Schritte
- When the venue or a promoter adds you, you get an email or a MekanBook notification; you can also apply through a signup link.
- Open your pass from the link, from Account › My VIP invitations, or in the app under Profile › My VIP invitations.
- Show the QR on the pass page at the door. When the door staff scan it, your entry is recorded.
- Approval: If you applied through a signup link, the pass shows "Awaiting approval" and the QR stays hidden until the venue approves you.
- Plus-ones: You can bring up to the number shown on the pass; the door staff record your plus-ones separately.
- Cutoff: If the list has a cutoff time (e.g. 00:30), it may not be honoured after that time. Read the entry terms (dress code, age, fee or minimum spend) on the pass page; venues must state any fee there.
- Privacy: Your phone number is stored encrypted; door staff only see your name and the last 4 digits. Your details are deleted 90 days after the event.
- Don't share the QR; it can be scanned once.
