Check-in and "who is here" visibility

How verified check-ins work and how to enable guest visibility at your venue.

  • When a guest scans the table QR and joins with the waiter's code, a verified check-in is created automatically. Scanning a member card at the door also checks in.
  • For guests to see each other ("who is here"), MekanBook must enable visibility for your venue. On the Üyelik page use the "Check-in ve online görünürlük" card and tap "Admin onayı gerekli — başvur". The same approval can enable messaging between guests visible at the venue at the same time.
  • No guest is ever visible without their own consent in privacy settings and for that check-in.
  • At venues with a membership system, check-in is open to members only. If the venue has an active membership plan, non-members are not checked in (the door screen shows "Üye değil — check-in yapılmadı"). Non-members can still join the table, order and pay. MekanBook membership counts if the venue takes part in the MekanBook network. MekanBook can change this rule per venue to "Everyone" or "Members only"; the current rule is shown on the card on the Üyelik page.
